Mick will be hosting his Tattoo Machine Building & Tuning Seminar at the Sydney Tattoo Convention (Sydney Town Hall) for the second year running. The seminar is scheduled for 8:30am on Saturday, August 8th, and will run until approximately 12:00 noon. (All attendees will be contacted prior to the event to confirm final timings and scheduling details.)

The seminar will run for approximately 3–4 hours, however, Mick is happy to extend the session to cover additional questions or explore topics in greater detail if needed.

Each participant will be provided with a liner coil machine kit, including all necessary components to build and tune your machine to your own preferences. I will offer custom colours this year too, make your selection when checking out.

Topics covered will include:

• Frame geometry

• Materials and their purpose

• Electrical fundamentals

• Electromagnetism

• Springs, spring shaping, and tuning

Mick will also personally hand-wind each coil, demonstrating the process step-by-step so you can fully understand the technique.

This seminar is an excellent opportunity to advance your tattooing skills, particularly if you’ve never worked with a coil machine before.

Your completed machine is included in the seminar and yours to take home.

Please note: the machine you build will be a bulldog-style machine, which will differ from the one pictured.
