Swap Meet & Art Exhibition
Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 6th, from 1 PM onwards. The Black Mark is hosting a tattoo equipment swap meet, and it’s totally free for all professional tattooists to attend! We’ve got some special guests lined up to share their insights into the rich history of Australian tattooing. Some of those guests are Rhys Gordon, MJ Forrest, Chris Cashmore and Colin Creed. Everyone can also sell or swap your equipment at the event, to attend or reserve your free spot to sell some equipment please fill in the form below, even if it’s one or two machines. We do want limit the amount of cheap pen machines and knock off machines at this event, we ask that anything you are wanting to sell is premium stuff whether it be coils or rotaries and price it accordingly to sell, it’s all up to you. Even if you don’t want to buy and just want to hang out and look around, as long as you are a tattooist you are welcome.
From 4 PM onwards, we’re kicking off the opening night for The Black Mark art exhibition, “Under the Influence,” next door to The Black Mark at Low Key. You’ll be able to buy original art and prints and drink some delicious cocktails and there will also be cold beers on tap. We’re also giving away a prize sponsored by our supply company, TBM Supplies. The winner will be announced at the opening of the art exhibition. So, come on down, grab your co-workers check out some tattoo gear, listen to how crazy tattoo history at the swap meet!
